Description

Fireworks nights can be a lot for a small dog. Loud bangs, bright flashes, and nowhere that feels like theirs. The Fireworks Kit brings together three things for those evenings: a soft den to curl up in, and two treat games to keep busy noses and tongues occupied.

Put together by pet owners, for pet owners. Chosen for comfort, simple to use, and easy to keep clean.

What's in the kit

1. The cosy donut bed
A round, soft plush bed with a raised rim to snuggle into. Washable. Available in 3 sizes.
2. The snuffle mat
A soft fleece mat with folds and pockets. Hide kibble or treats inside and let your pet sniff them out at their own pace. Measures 64 x 43cm.
3. The lick mat
A textured lick mat for spreading wet food, yoghurt or a dog-safe spread. Non-slip, and it can be fixed to a crate.

Choose the right size

Tip: measure your pet curled up asleep and choose the size that gives them a little room to spare. The snuffle mat and lick mat are the same in every kit.

Setting up a fireworks den

  1. Place the bed in a quiet corner a few days before fireworks start, so it already feels familiar.
  2. On the night, close curtains and windows, and put on some music or the TV.
  3. Offer the lick mat or snuffle mat with a few treats before the bangs begin.
  4. Stay calm and carry on as normal. Let your pet choose where they want to be.

These tips follow the RSPCA's general advice on pets and fireworks. If your pet is very frightened by loud noises, please speak to your vet.

Delivery

Free UK delivery, usually 7 to 12 working days.

Your kit may arrive in one parcel or up to three separate parcels, sometimes on different days. Please don't worry if one item arrives first. Delivery is free either way, and you will receive all three items.

Design note

The colours and pattern of the snuffle mat may differ from the photos, as designs change from batch to batch. Every design works the same way: hide treats in the fleece and let your pet sniff them out.

Care and safety

  • Wash the bed and snuffle mat as directed on the care label. Air dry fully before use.
  • Wash the lick mat by hand in warm soapy water after each use.
  • Always supervise your pet with food toys, and remove any item that becomes damaged.
  • Only use foods that are safe for your pet. Never use spreads containing xylitol.

Is it just for dogs?
The Small kit also suits cats.

Can I use it after fireworks season?
Yes. The bed is an everyday bed, and the mats are useful any time your pet needs something to do.

Shipping & Return

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
